A Grand Jury from the 16th Judicial District of St. Mary Parish issued an indictment on March 14, 2024. The following arrest stems from the indictment.
Kennedy Johnson, 61, of Macarthur Dr., Jeanerette, LA, with the assistance of Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office, was arrested on June 10, 2024, at 10:55 PM, on a warrant for indictment for aggravated first degree rape. Johnson was additionally arrested on a warrant for Third Ward City Court for failure to appear on the charge of speeding. Johnson was booked, processed, and held on a $1,000,230.00 bond.
