A 61-year-old Thibodaux man has been arrested following an investigation into alleged sex crimes involving a juvenile, according to the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Sheriff Craig Webre said juvenile detectives launched the investigation last month after receiving allegations of inappropriate conduct involving a female victim. Investigators determined the alleged incidents occurred several years ago when the victim was a young child.
During the investigation, detectives also discovered evidence that inappropriate photographs of the child had allegedly been taken without the victim’s knowledge, along with other evidence supporting the case. Investigators subsequently obtained an arrest warrant.
On July 24, 2026, Gregory Leblanc was arrested and booked into the Lafourche Parish Correctional Complex.
Leblanc is charged with:
11 counts of indecent behavior with a juvenile
4 counts of video voyeurism
2 counts of pornography involving a juvenile
1 count of molestation of a juvenile
His bond has been set at $600,000. The investigation remains under the direction of the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office.
