In the fourth week of the Bayou Horseshoe Pitchers Association Summer League 2023, the standings are as follows: Half & Half secured the first place with a score of 25.0 – 11.0, followed by Ring A Roos (21.5 – 14.5) at second place, and Double Ringers (20.5 – 15.5) at third place. Wknd @ Burnies and 75/25 are in fourth and fifth place with scores of 8.0 – 10.0 and 6.5 – 11.5 respectively.
The individual leaders this week include Tim Gilmore, topping both the High Scratch Point Average (81-4) and High Individual Ringer Percentage (60) in the 30-foot category. Meanwhile, Dale Pearce leads the High Scratch Point Average in the 40-foot category with a score of 55-6 and also leads the High Individual Ringer Percentage with 34-4 points.
Other notable achievements include Tim Gilmore’s highest scratch game of 91 in the 30-foot category and Dale Pearce’s highest scratch game of 77 in the 40-foot category. Moreover, Gilmore recorded the most ringers in one night (72) and one game (28). In terms of team performances, Double Ringers lead with most points in one night (531) and most ringers in one night (141).
Matthew Strickland holds the best won/loss record (3-1), followed by Al Graham (8-1), Jim Guzdial (5-1), and a shared record by Kinslow, Canty, and Caillouet scoring (7-2).
