St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 35 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Rhondalyn Ronelvia Butler, 36, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on January 5, 2022, at 6:59 pm on two warrants for failure to appear on the following charges:
- Unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling
- Domestic abuse child endangerment
- Simple criminal damage to property
- Speeding in a construction zone
Bail has not been set at this time.
James Remington Thomas, 39, Gray, LA, was arrested on January 5, 2022, at 10:03 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of domestic abuse battery. Bail has not been set at this time.
Scott Russell Barr, 40, Richmond, TX, was arrested on January 5, 2022, at 11:31 pm on two warrants for failure to appear on the charge of domestic abuse-child endangerment law, simple battery, and entry on or remaining in places or on land after being forbidden. Bail has not been set at this time.
