St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 36 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Ray Jovan Robertson, 34, Baldwin, LA, was arrested on January 31, 2024, at 11:21 am for a probation violation. Bail was set at $5,000.
Darrell Jason Sides, 49, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on January 31, 2024, at 1:08 pm for reckless operation-no accident, driving while intoxicated, and open container. Bail has not been set at this time.
Breanna Lynn Hillebran, 25, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on January 31, 2024, at 6:43 pm on the following charges:
- Possession of schedule II (methamphetamine) with intent to distribute
- Possession of synthetic cannabinoids with intent to distribute
- Possession of alprazolam with intent to distribute
- Possession of schedule III
- Transactions involving proceeds from drug proceeds
Bail has not been set at this time.
NARCOTICS DIVISION
Arrie Sam, 18, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on January 31, 2024, at 10:19 pm on the following charges:
- Illegal possession of stolen firearms
- License plate lights required
- Failure to give proper signal
- Failure to appear warrant for theft of a motor vehicle

Theron Batiste Jr., 47, Houston, TX, was arrested on January 31, 2024, at 5:36 pm on the following charges:
- Maximum speed limit
- Possession of schedule I (marijuana)
- Possession of schedule I (MDMA)
- Possession of schedule II (methamphetamine)
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
