Lydia “Mrs. Lit” Delasbour Foulcard, 88, a native and resident native of Franklin, LA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday January 11, 2022 at 7:35 AM at Franklin Foundation Hospital in Franklin, LA.
A walk-through viewing will be observed on Friday, January 14, 2022 from 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Jones Funeral Home 1101 Main St. Franklin, LA 70538. (All visitors are asked to adhere to the CDC/local regulations by wearing masks and practicing social distancing). Visitation will resume on Saturday January 15, 2021 from 10:00 AM until a rosary being recited at 12:45 PM at the St Jules Catholic Church in Franklin, LA. Tributes and Expressions will begin at 1:15 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 PM with Father Peter Emusa serving as the Celebrant. Burial will follow mass services in the St Jules Catholic Church Cemetery in Franklin, LA.
Lydia leaves to cherish her precious memories: her loving siblings, Charles (Jean) Delasbour, Elwood (Mary) Delasbour, Robert Delasbour, (sisters) Mildred Jones, Anna Dargins, Mrs. Gerald (Maryann ) Boutte; seven beautiful children, Carl (Sandra) Foulcard, Michael (Brenda) Foulcard, Mrs. Alfred (Carol) Hill, Sr., Donald (Myrna) Foulcard, Mrs. Ozell (Debra) Bailey, Eugene (Terry) Foulcard, Charles (April) Foulcard, Artey Foulcard; sixteen grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren; sisters-in-law; godchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Lydia was preceded in death by her late husband, parents; nine siblings; grandsons, sisters-in-laws and brothers-in-laws, a special cousin who was like a daughter to her.
