Funeral arrangements have been announced for 26-year-old Brea Nicole Paul of Patterson, who was killed in a hit-and-run crash earlier this month in Bayou Vista.
According to her obituary, funeral services for Paul will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 23, at Twin City Funeral Home in Morgan City, with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. until service time. Burial will follow at Ibert’s Mortuary Cemetery.
Louisiana State Police previously reported that Paul was struck and killed in the early morning hours of May 11 while walking along Louisiana Highway 182 near Field Road. The driver involved fled the scene, and the investigation remains ongoing.
Paul is remembered by loved ones as a vibrant young woman whose energy, warmth, and unforgettable personality touched many throughout the community.
