Last seen on April 16, 2024, around 9 p.m., Batiste was at a group residence on the 2600 block of Old Jeanerette Road within Iberia Parish. Concerns are heightened due to a medical condition affecting Derrick’s judgement.
Derrick Batiste is described as a 45-year-old male with a height of 5 feet 7 inches and weighing around 145 pounds. He sports black hair, brown eyes, and was last observed wearing a blue jacket over a white shirt, blue jeans, and a burgundy do-rag. It is believed that Derrick left the facility on foot.
