HOUMA, La. — September 1, 2026 — A Houma man has been re-arrested after investigators developed additional allegations involving inappropriate conduct with children, according to the Houma Police Department.
Police said detectives with the department’s Criminal Investigations Division have continued investigating allegations involving Lee Anthony Gautreaux.
During the ongoing investigation, detectives reportedly uncovered additional information that led to two more counts of Indecent Behavior with Juveniles. Authorities said the alleged incidents involved children who were 8 and 9 years old at the time.
Detectives obtained two arrest warrants for Gautreaux, and he was later taken into custody without incident.
Gautreaux is currently being held at the Terrebonne Parish Correctional Center without bond, according to police.
The Houma Police Department said the investigation remains focused on allegations involving crimes against children and that such complaints will continue to be thoroughly investigated.
All charges are allegations, and Gautreaux is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
