The Franklin Police Department responded to 50 calls for service over the past weekend and made the following arrests:
Takeya Dejean, 20, of Titian Ave., Baton Rouge, LA, was arrested on September 19, 2025, at 3:54 PM, on the charges of speeding and driver must be licensed. Dejean was booked, processed, and released to appear in Third Ward City Court.
Dashaunta Brooks, 32, of Bollard St., Baldwin, LA, was arrested on September 19, 2025, at 10:00 PM, on the charges of simple criminal damage to property, disturbing the peace by violent and tumultuous manner, resisting an officer, and terrorizing. Brooks was booked, processed, and released on a $6,000.00 bond.
