It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Willow Jean Ganaway, who left us peacefully on February 4, 2025, at the age of 95. Willow was born on August 24, 1929, in Booneville, MS, and lived a full and vibrant life that touched the hearts of many.
A devoted homemaker, Willow found joy in the simple pleasures of life, from cooking delicious meals to spending time with her beloved dogs. She cherished the moments spent traveling and creating memories with her family. She was a proud business owner of G & G Supply of over 50 years. Willow’s warmth and kindness created a welcoming home that many were lucky to enjoy.
She is lovingly remembered by her son, Mark Ganaway, her daughter-in-law, Christine Vice Ganaway. Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Willow’s family is grateful for all the love and support they have received during this time.
A funeral service celebrating Willow’s life will be held on February 10, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Twin City Funeral Home, with a public viewing prior to the service starting at 10:00 AM. Following the service, she will be laid to rest at 1:00 PM.
Willow will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of everyone she touched.
Willow was preceded in death by: husband – Joseph Ganaway, parents – Joseph Glenn, Dolie Glenn, son – Harold Ganaway Sr., and wife Debby Croft Ganaway- sisters – Gladys Barnes, Demple Dunkin, brother – Joe Glenn- great-grandson, Joseph Ganaway.
