A beloved father and grandfather, Floyd was the kind of individual who kept quietly to himself but when he did speak or share his thoughts, you were sure to listen. Though a deeply private individual, Floyd was a steady presence to his family, providing for them when needed. He enjoyed hobbies such as playing pool, fishing, working on automobiles (which he pretty much knew everything about) and watching Wheel of Fortune or the news. Floyd was especially close to his grandbabies and his beloved pets.
Those who left to cherish Floyd’s memory are his three sons, Floyd Kenneth Guillory, John Leonard Guillory and his wife, Deborah, and Carroll Anthony Guillory and his wife, Winona; three daughters, Bobby Joyce Guillory Yarbrough, Jessie Lee Christman and her husband, Rogers, and Debra Ann Guillory Knight and her husband, Albert; two sisters, Betty Joseph and Barbara Ellis; and 20 grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Anna Mae Guillory; his second wife, Rosalee Guillory; one daughter-in-law, Donna Guillory; one son-in-law, Darrell Yarbrough; one grandson, Marcus Yarbrough; and numerous brothers and sisters.
Services for Floyd will be held privately by the family at a later date.
