Berwick Police Chief David Leonard reports the following arrest:
Kevin Dontay W/M 38 Sixth St. Berwick was arrested on July 8, 2023 at 10:06 PM for
- DOMESTIC ABUSE BATTERY CHILD ENDANGERMENT
- SIMPLE ASSAULT
- POSSESSION OF A FIREARM BY A CONVICTED FELON
On July 8, 2023 at approximately 9:14 PM officers responded to a disturbance call at a residence on Sixth Street. Upon arrival it was Dontay was learned to be the suspect of the altercation. Officers spoke with the victim and witnesses who stated Dontay made several threats to harm the victim. Through investigation it was learned that Dontay was in possession of a firearm and is a convicted felon which prohibits him from doing so. Dontay was placed under arrest and transported to the Berwick Police Department where he was booked on the above charges.
