The Franklin Police Department responded to 12 complaints over the past 24 hours and made the following arrests:
Walter Wilbur, 61, of Chatsworth Rd., Franklin, LA, was arrested on June 1, 2023, at 9:59 AM, on a warrant dated November 17, 2022, for disturbing the peace by language. Wilbur was booked, processed, and released on a $1,000.00 bond.
Damenn Stansbury, 54, of SJ Ln., Franklin, LA, was arrested on June 1, 2023, at 2:26 PM, on the charges of unauthorized entry of a place of business, theft, and remaining where forbidden – 2 counts. Stansbury was booked, processed, and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
Joseph McNeese, 19, of Morris St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on June 1, 2023, at 9:00 PM, on the charge of terrorizing. McNeese was booked, processed, and held with no bond set at the time of press release.
