Berwick Police Chief David Leonard reports the following arrests report:
Shawn Ramagos B/M 32 Ciro St. Morgan City was arrested on June 25, 2022 at 02:22 AM for
- POSSESSION OF SCHEDULE I CDS MDMA
- POSSESSION OF A FIREARM BY A CONVICTED FELON
- POSSESSION OF A FIREARM IN THE PRESENCE OF A CDS
On June 25, 2022 at approximately 01:55 AM officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a traffic violation. During the course of the stop, officers detected a strong odor of Marijuana emitting from the vehicle. Officers made contact with the passenger of the vehicle who was identified as Ramagos. Ramagos was found to be in possession of MDMA pills. A search of the vehicle was conducted at which time a firearm located in Ramago’s seating position was located. It was learned that Ramagos was a convicted felon prohibiting him from possessing a firearm. Ramagos was placed under arrest and transported to the Berwick Police Department where he was booked on the charges of Possession of Schedule I CDS MDMA, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, and Possession of a Firearm in the Presence of a CDS. Ramagos remains incarcerated with a bond set at $33,000.00
Darren Boggan W/F 45 Church St. Patterson was arrested on June 28, 2022 at 1:42 PM for
- POSSESSION OF SCHEDULE II CDS METHAMPHETAMINE
On June 28, 2022 at approximately 1:29 PM officers observed a female riding a bicycle in traffic in the area of Sixth Street. Officers made contact with the female who was identified as Boggan. During the course of the stop with Boggan, she was found to be in possession of Methamphetamine. It was also learned that she had an active warrant through the Morgan City Police Department. Boggan was placed under arrest and transported to the Berwick Police Department where she was booked on the charge of Possession of Schedule II CDS Methamphetamine. No bond set at this time.
