The Franklin Police Department responded to 24 complaints over the past weekend and made the following arrests:
Mark Thomas, 57, of Mechanic St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on May 6, 2022, at 10:45 PM, on the charge of aggravated assault – 2 counts. Thomas was booked, processed, and released on a $3,000.00 bond.
Chris Baptiste, 54, of Eighth St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on May 7, 2022, at 7:37 PM, on the charge of monetary instrument abuse. Baptiste was booked, processed, and held on a $500.00 bond.
Erin Peters, 38, of Martin Luther King Blvd., Lafayette, LA, was arrested on May 9, 2022, at 12:09 AM, on the charges of disturbing the peace by public intoxication and remaining where forbidden. Peters was booked, processed, and held on a $1,500.00 bond.
