Morgan City Police Chief James F. Blair said that officers responded to the area of Grizzaffi Street in regards to a shooting that had occurred on Tuesday evening. Officers arrived and located one victim that was struck by gun fire. The victim was transported to an out of area hospital where they are listed in stable but guarded condition.
The investigation is ongoing and anyone having information, including any video surveillance, is asked to contact the Morgan City Police Department Detective Division at (985)380-4605. No other information has been released at this time.
