Investigators with the Morgan City Police Department Detectives Division executed a search warrant in the area of Filmore Street in which a juvenile male was implicated as a potential suspect in the recent Lakeside Burglaries. During the course of the investigation it was determined that the subject was not involved in these burglaries. However, according to reports, the juvenile was implicated in a burglary that occurred around October 8th where a firearm was stolen out of a vehicle. Sometime after the burglary the firearm was disposed of. The juvenile was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked.
