According to Jeanerette Police Chief Dusty Vallot, Jason Joe Jr., who was wanted for Principal to First Degree Murder from a shooting that happened on August 16, 2023, has been apprehended. With the help of Lafayette Police Department, Joe was apprehended without incident. Joe was transported to Iberia Parish Jail and is being held without bond. Chief Vallot would like to thank you the community for providing credible information with his whereabouts. Additional charges pending as the investigation continues.
