New Iberia, LA – On Wednesday, July 12, 2023, around 9:00 PM, a shooting occurred in the 700 block of Buckeye Street. The New Iberia Police Department’s Uniformed Patrol Division arrived at the scene and discovered a man with multiple gunshot wounds.
The injured man was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. The investigation is still underway, and further information will be provided as it becomes available.
