Rodney Hayes, 38, a resident of Morgan City, LA passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2022 at his residence.
Visitation will be held Saturday, October 15, 2022 at Jones Funeral Home Chapel, 715 Sixth St., Morgan City, LA., from 9:00 AM until funeral service at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in the Morgan City Cemetery.
Rodney leaves to cherish his memories; his mother, Lois Mingo Hayes of Morgan City, LA; a son, Kelton Peyton of Patterson, LA; three brothers, Sylvester “POP” Hayes of Lake Charles, LA., Ronell Hayes and Travis Hayes both of Morgan City, LA; a sister, Sharenda Hayes of Morgan City, LA., and a host of relatives and friends.
Rodney was preceded in death by his father, Sylvester Hayes, Jr., a brother, Derrick “Yak” Hayes, his grandparents, Gussie Dixon and Sylvester Hayes, Sr., a uncle, Milton Hayes.
