The Franklin Police Department responded to 23 complaints over the past weekend and made the following arrests:
Carl Dupas, 58, of Iberia St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on December 3, 2021, at 8:37 AM, on the charge of simple battery. Dupas was booked, processed, and held on a $2,000.00 bond.
Allen Jones, 45, of Martin Luther King Blvd., Franklin, LA, was arrested on December 3, 2021, at 12:58 PM, on the charge of theft. Jones was booked, processed, and released to appear in Third Ward City Court.
Marquita Wiggins, 27, of Dale St., New Iberia, LA, was arrested on December 5, 2021, at 11:09 PM, on the charge of simple battery. Wiggins was booked, processed, and released to appear in Third Ward City Court.
