BERWICK, La. — A 17-year-old Berwick resident remains in custody on a $152,000 bond following an investigation into allegations of sexual assault and battery, according to the Berwick Police Department.
Police began investigating September 21, 2026, after receiving a complaint. Investigators said interviews and evidence gathered during the investigation led them to identify Connor James Ordoyne as a suspect and obtain an arrest warrant.
After learning of the warrant, Ordoyne voluntarily surrendered to Berwick Police on Thursday, October 22, at approximately 4:44 p.m. He was taken into custody without incident.
The department’s October 26 release did not specify the charges listed in the warrant.
All defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
