Thibodaux, Louisiana- July 7, 2026 – Thibodaux Regional Health System is pleased to announce the addition of Samuel Seyler, MD, Pulmonologist/Critical Care Specialist, to the active medical staff. Dr. Seyler is available to care for patients at Thibodaux Regional Pulmonology & Critical Care Specialty Clinic at 604 North Acadia Road, Suite 411, Thibodaux, 985.493.4933.
Dr. Seyler received his medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, TN. He completed his Residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at University of Tennessee Health Science Center, and completed a Fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care at Tulane University Medical Center in New Orleans. Dr. Seyler is Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
As a physician specializing in Pulmonology and Critical Care, Dr. Seyler diagnoses and treats conditions of the respiratory tract, such as Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), pneumonia, asthma, and lung cancer. Additionally, he cares for patients with life-threatening illnesses or injuries such as multi-system organ failure, severe infections (sepsis), and massive trauma, usually within the Critical Care Unit.
Dr. Seyler says he is proud to bring his pulmonary and critical care expertise to Thibodaux Regional, a place he feels clearly reflects the strength and spirit of the community.
