THIBODAUX, La. — Craig Webre, Sheriff of the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office, announced that the search for a missing Thibodaux man came to an end Saturday morning after investigators located his body.
Authorities identified the man as Tavares Coleman Jr., 25. His body was discovered in a pond near his residence on December 20, 2025.
Sheriff Webre said Coleman’s death remains under investigation; however, at this time, detectives have found no evidence of foul play.
