Madison Noel Cobb, a long time native and resident of Bayou L’Ourse, was called to her heavenly home on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at the age of 21.
Madison was the beloved baby of the family, a bright light whose presence could never go unnoticed. A proud graduate of Assumption High School, she lived her 21 years with a spirit that was fearless and free. She was a wild child in the best sense—rebellious, bold, and unapologetically herself, with a spark that brought color to every room she entered.
Beneath her carefree nature was a heart as big as her smile, which could warm even the coldest day. Madison had a natural gift for loving others, especially children and animals, who always seemed to gravitate toward her gentle and playful energy. Her compassion was effortless, and her love, unconditional.
Though her time with us was far too short, Madison leaves behind a legacy of living fully and loving deeply. She reminded those around her to embrace life as it comes, to dance in the rain, and to never dim their light for anyone. Her memory will continue to live on in every laugh she sparked, every soul she touched, and every heart that carries her forward.
Those left to cherish Madison’s beautiful memory is her parents, Olan and Lisa Cobb of Bayou L’Ourse; her sister, Megan LeBlanc and her husband, Ethan; two nieces, Lillian and Londyn LeBlanc; her paternal grandmother, Yvonne Morrison; her maternal grandfather, Bill Ordoyne and numerous other beloved family members.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Charles Cobb and her maternal grandmother, Patricia Ordoyne.
The family requests that a time of visitation and remembrance be observed on Monday, August 11, 2025 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a sharing of memories being held at 6:00 pm, all at Hargrave Funeral Home.
Graveside services for Madison will be held privately at a later date by the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Hargrave Funeral Home of Morgan City, Louisiana.
