The Jeanerette Police Department responded to 41 calls for service from May 8 to May 15, wrote 16 citations, and made 7 arrests.
Terrance Ballet, 52, of Saint Charles St., Jeanerette LA, was arrested on May 6, on the charge of Possessing or Drug Paraphernalia. Ballet was released on a summons to appear in court.
Kaylia Steward, 28, of Prairie Ave, New Iberia LA, was arrested on May 11, on the charge of Criminal Damage to Property. Steward was released on a summons to appear in court.
Rendryl Jordan, 28, of Big Four Corners Rd., Jeanerette LA, was arrested on May 11, on a Jeanerette City Court Warrant for Failure to Appear for Speed 83/65, No Driver’s License, and a second Jeanerette City Court Warrant for Failure to Appear on Hit and Run and no Driver’s License. Jordan was booked, processed, and released on a summons to appear in court and a $368.50 bond.
Trey Jordan, 30, of Ronald Lane, Jeanerette LA, was arrested on May 11, on a Jeanerette City Court Warrant for Failure to Appear for Loud Music, No Driver’s License and a second Jeanerette City Court Warrant for Failure to Appear for Off-road Vehicles on a Public Road. Jordan was booked, processed, released on a $550 bond.
Terris Alexis, 44, of Canal Street, Jeanerette LA, was arrested on May 12, on the charge of Driving while Driver’s License Suspended or Revoked. Alexis was booked, processed, and released on a $350 bond and a summons to appear in court.
Malik Cook, 26, of N Cafeline Rs., Albany LA, was arrested on May 12, on a Failure to Appear Warrant for Port Allen Police Dept. Cook was booked, processed, and transported to Iberia Parish Jail.
Christopher Snowden, 25, of Sanaren St., Charenton LA, was arrested on May 15, on the charges of Flight from an Officer, Resisting an Officer with Force or Violence, Aggravated Assault on a Police Officer, Aggravated Battery, Aggravated Obstruction of a Highway of Commerce, Penalty for Distribution or Possession with Intent to Distribute, Stop Signs and Yield Signs, Aggravated Criminal Damage to Property, Reckless Operation of a Vehicle, Turning Movements and Required Signals, Vehicular Neglect, and Aggravated Assault with a Motor Vehicle Upon a Police Officer. Snowden was booked, processed, and transported to Iberia Parish Jail.
