Franklin Teens Charged with Arson in Vehicle Fires Investigation in Jeanerette

According to the State Fire Marshal’s Office, three teenagers were charged and arrested for setting fire to several vehicles in the Jeanerette area. In a report, the State Fire Marshal’s Office were called on Feb. 6th in regard to two vehicles on fire in Jeanerette. Another vehicle fire was reported several hours later in Jeanerette. Further investigation revealed both fires were intentional.

Officials have arrested 17-year-old Mason Couvillier, and 17-year-old Taylon Robicheaux both of Franklin were arrested and charged with three counts of arson. 18-year-old Anna Hebert of Franklin was arrested and charged with principle to simple arson.
