The Franklin Police Department responded to 18 complaints over the past weekend and made the following arrests:
August Gloskey, 64, of Jekyl Ln., Franklin, LA, was arrested on October 11, 2024, at 8:18 PM, on a warrant for Third Ward City Court for failure to appear on the charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and criminal trespass. Gloskey was booked, processed, and held on a $418.00 bond.
Byron Paul, 38, of Bull Island Rd., New Iberia, LA, was arrested on October 11, 2024, at 11:25 PM, on the charge of speeding, and a warrant for 16th Judicial District Court for failure to appear on the charges of operating a motor vehicle not covered by security, failure to stop at stop sign, and improper use of registration. Paul was booked, processed, and released on a $500.00 bond.
