Drug Bust in Houma Leads to Multiple Arrests

Houma, LA – On July 13, 2023, a joint operation involving the Houma Police Department, Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office, and Louisiana State Police successfully concluded a month-long narcotics investigation. In the early morning hours, a search warrant was executed without any issues at a residence located on the 200 block of Pitre Street.

Authorities seized a significant amount of drugs, including over 178 grams of heroin/fentanyl, around 121 grams of marijuana, about 40 grams of methamphetamine, hydrocodone pills, more than $1,000 in cash, and multiple firearms.

The investigation led to the arrest of three individuals: Crystal Voclain (28) faces various charges including possession of firearms by a convicted felon and intent to distribute multiple controlled substances; Billy Zerangue (35), similarly charged with possession of firearms by a convicted felon and intent to distribute various drugs, is also wanted for distribution of heroin/fentanyl; Gary Paul Voclain Jr. (28) has been arrested on two counts for distribution of methamphetamine and possession of controlled substances.
