Louisiana State Police is responding to a train that has derailed near Donaldsonville. A State Police spokeswoman tells KQKI News the derailment occurred on LA 70 at LA 3089 in Ascension Parish and traffic is being diverted from LA 70 to LA 3127. See map below for location information. Multiple train cars are reportedly overturned and it is currently unknown if any injuries have been reported.
