Second Suspect Arrested in Bertrandville Shooting Incident on Pecan Street

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon has announced the arrest of 22-year-old Qushawn Beasley from 128 Belle Point Lane, Napoleonville, LA, on felony charges stemming from a shooting event that took place on September 16, 2023, on Pecan Street in Bertrandville, LA.

Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the scene at Pecan Street after reports of a shooting. Detectives initiated an inquiry and found evidence that confirmed a shooting had taken place. They managed to identify a suspect vehicle believed to be involved in the shooting incident.

Following further investigation, detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Qushawn Beasley. On Thursday evening, deputies arrested Beasley and booked her into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on a charge of Accessory after the Fact to Aggravated Assault with a Firearm. She remains in custody with bail set at $20,000.

Qushawn Beasley is the second individual arrested in relation to the September 16, 2023 shooting incident.
