Investigators with the Morgan City Police Department Detectives Division began an investigation on July 16, 2024, regarding allegations of an improper relationship between an adult and a juvenile. According to reports, K’Lance E. Robertson was identified as the suspect in the investigation.
Robertson allegedly was involved in an inappropriate sexual relationship with the juvenile victim. Reports indicate that various social media accounts and devices were used in the production and distribution of media involving the juvenile victim. Evidence was uncovered linking Robertson to the investigation which subsequently resulted in arrest warrants being prepared for his arrest.
On August 20, 2024, Robertson was located and arrested in Assumption Parish, with the assistance of the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office. Robertson was charged accordingly and booked into the Morgan City Jail where he now awaits court proceedings.
