Minor Injuries Reported in Boat Fire on Bayou Teche

First responders were dispatched Friday afternoon to a boat on fire that was located on Bayou Teche, just west of Patterson. The boat’s occupants received minor injuries and were transported to Jesse B. Hayes Memorial Boat Landing on Highway 182 in Patterson where they were being treated by Acadian Ambulance personnel. Also responding to he scene were Patterson Volunteer Fire Department and the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office. No other details are available at this time.
