Lois Templet Nope, 86, a resident of Morgan City, passed away peacefully, Saturday, April 2, 2022.
Lois was born January 4, 1936, in Belle Rose, the daughter of Clifton Templet and Margaret Falcon Cavalier.
Lois enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her son, John Nope and wife Carey of Saint Amant; daughter, Margaret Dupuy and husband Jimmy of Morgan City; three grandchildren, Austin Nope, Justin Dupuy, and Jamie Dupuy; two great-grandchildren, Jace Nope and Lyla Nope.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents, Clifton Templet and Margaret Cavalier; husband, John Nope Jr., sister, Joyce Landry.
The family would like to give their appreciation to Lois’ caretaker, Destiny Taylor, as well as Pinnacle Hospice for all of their great care.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at Pharr Chapel Methodist Church with Rev. Joy Comeaux officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at Pharr Chapel Church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services. After services, Lois will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
