Mark your calendars for the City of Franklin’s much-anticipated Annual Citywide Christmas Lighting Display Contest, taking place on Thursday, December 14, starting at 6 pm. Participation couldn’t be easier, as there is no registration required. To join in the festive fun, simply turn on your outdoor and window Christmas displays at the designated time.

A panel of five impartial judges from outside the city will embark on a journey to tour Franklin’s various districts, assessing each display in search of the top two winners from every residential area and the business district. The tradition continues with first and second place winners receiving a yard sign to boast their victory and, of course, bragging rights for an entire year. With a history of consecutive winners, this year’s competition promises to be just as lively and spirited as ever.
