The Franklin Police Department responded to 20 calls for service over the past 24 hours and made the following arrests:
Juvenile was arrested on May 5, 2025, at 7:29 AM, on the charge of ungovernable juvenile.
Troy Singleton, Jr., 21, of Franklin, LA, was arrested on May 5, 2025, at 11:21 AM, on the charges of domestic abuse battery and possession of schedule I narcotics (marijuana). Singleton was booked, processed, and held with no bond set at the time of press release.
Kawunya Loston, 20, of Vikki Dr., Houma, LA, was arrested on May 5, 2025, at 11:34 AM, on the charge of disturbing the peace. Loston was booked, processed, and released on a $1,000.00 bond.
