The Franklin Police Department responded to 8 complaints over the past 24 hours and made the following arrests:
Toni Bourgeois, 42, of Joseph St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on May 28, 2024, at 7:06 PM, on a warrant for St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office for simple battery and theft. Bourgeois was booked, processed, and released on a $4,000.00 bond.
Christian Druilhet, 23, of Henshaw Dr., New Iberia, LA, was arrested on May 29, 2024, at 2:58 AM, on the charge of violation of protective order. Druilhet was additionally arrested on a warrant for 16th Judicial District Court for failure to appear on the charge of violation of protective order. Druilhet was booked, processed, and held with no bond set at the time of press release.
