Chris Brady Boudreaux passed away at the age of 67 at his brother’s home in Youngsville on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 from complications of cirrhosis of the liver.
Chris was born in Franklin on December 14, 1953, one of five sons of Frank and Lavern Boudreaux. Chris’ main passion in life was skydiving, which he did regularly until his failing health no longer allowed. He worked in various industries throughout his life, but his most recent and most rewarding job was counseling those battling drug and alcohol addictions, sharing his personal struggles and journey with those in need of help.
Chris is survived by his two brothers, Bobby Boudreaux and his wife Brenda, and Terry Dean Boudreaux; his aunts, Bonnie Parker and her husband Danny and Inez Boudreaux; and his best friend who was like a brother, Jimmy Ducote; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Misty Lyn Boudreaux; his parents, Frank Louis Boudreaux and Lavern McLean Boudreaux; two brothers, Jeffery and Bart Boudreaux; his paternal grandparents, Neville Boudreaux and Bridget Boudreaux Hebert; his maternal grandparents, Parker Lavern McLean and Florence Isabell Wellman McLean; his nephew, Blake Boudreaux; and his niece, Rebecca Boudreaux.
In keeping with his wishes, Chris will be cremated and placed with his daughter and mother in the Franklin Cemetery, which will be held privately.
