Investigators with the New Iberia Police Department have positively identified the suspect in the Attempted Armed Robbery that occurred on April 16, 2022, in the 600 block of East Admiral Doyle Drive and the shooting on April 17, 2022, at the intersection of South Hopkins and Field Street as 25-year-old, Rickey Rashawn Thibodeaux Jr.
Thibodeaux is wanted for charges mentioned below:
Aggravated Burglary
Possession of a Firearm or Carrying Concealed Weapon by a Person Convicted of Certain Felonies
Attempted First Degree Murder
Armed Robbery
Possession of a Firearm or Carrying Concealed Weapon by a Person Convicted of Certain Felonies
Illegal Use of Weapons or Dangerous Instrumentalities
