BERWICK, La. — The Berwick Police and Fire departments will host National Night Out / Community Night on Tuesday, December 1, 2026, from 6 to 8 p.m.
The event will take place on Third Street in front of Berwick Town Hall, between Lima and Canton streets.
Residents and families are invited to enjoy free food and drinks while meeting Berwick police officers, representatives from neighboring law enforcement agencies, and local firefighters.
Organizers said the gathering was scheduled after other community events and local elections to give residents an opportunity to come together for an evening of fellowship.
The police department will also collect new, unwrapped toys for its annual Christmas toy drive. Donations will help bring holiday cheer to children, but a toy donation is not required to attend.
Police Chief J.P. Henry and the Berwick Police Department encourage everyone to participate and help strengthen relationships between residents and first responders.
