Chief Garrett Grogan identified the suspects as Roderick Wayne Preston Jr., 20, and Kaiden Issiah Clarquis Preston, 18.

According to the Patterson Police Department, investigators obtained arrest warrants charging each with:
Two counts of attempted second-degree murder.
One count of illegal use of weapons or dangerous instrumentalities.
Two counts of aggravated criminal damage to property.
