The Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office will be hosting a Rape Aggression Defense (R.A.D.) course from September 15 to 17, 2026, at the Larose – Cut Off Middle School. The school is located at 13356 West Main Street in Larose. This self-defense course, specifically designed for women, will run over three days, with classes starting at 6 p.m. and concluding around 9:30 p.m. Sheriff Craig Webre encourages women in the community to participate in this valuable self-defense training.
