NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon has announced the arrest of 46-year-old Kentrell Lang following an incident that occurred near a courthouse where court proceedings were set to begin regarding Lang. Witnesses reported that Lang made loud verbal comments directed at individuals associated with the trial, which were considered intimidating, threatening, and harassing. As a result, Lang was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on multiple charges, including five counts of intimidating, impeding, or injuring witnesses or officers, and resisting an officer. Lang remains in custody pending a bond hearing.
