The Franklin Police Department responded to 10 complaints over the past 24 hours and made the following arrests:
Devante Burden, 31, of Blakesley St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on August 15, 2023, at 10:29 AM, on a warrant dated January 6, 2022, for simple battery on a juvenile and a warrant for 16th Judicial District Court for failure to appear on the charge of obscenity. Burden was additionally arrested on the charge of monetary instrument abuse. Burden was booked, processed, and held with no bond set at the time of press release.
Jarius Boyd, 22, of Alexander Ln., Franklin, LA, was arrested on August 15, 2023, at 2:23 PM, on warrants dated March 16, 2023, for aggravated assault, armed robbery, and home invasion. Boyd was additionally arrested on a warrant for Patterson Mayor’s Court for failure to appear on the charge of speeding. Boyd was booked, processed, and released on a $15,000.00 bond.
