St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 26 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Bryson Shane Gaspard, 21, Baldwin, LA, was arrested on December 9, 2021, at 10:36 am for possession of THC wax and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $3,500.
Juvenile Male, 16, Baldwin, LA, was arrested on December 9, 2021, at 12:27 pm for battery-simple and assault on a school teacher. The juvenile male was released into the custody of a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.
Derrick Lee John Williams Jr., 20, Lafayette, LA, was arrested on December 9, 2021, at 4:15 pm on a warrant for attempted first degree murder. Williams also held a warrant for battery of a dating partner and criminal damage to property-attempted.
Alicia Kelly Bertrand, 37, Patterson, LA, was arrested on December 9, 2021, at 6:54 pm for theft. Bertrand was released on a summons to appear on March 17, 2022.
Jondre Jaman Wesley, 38, Franklin, LA, was arrested on December 9, 2021, at 7:18 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge criminal neglect of family. Bail was set at $500.
