Vada Belle Grow Breaux, 96, a resident of Bayou Vista, passed away Monday, November 8, 2021, surrounded by her loving family.
Vada was born April 10, 1925, in Morgan City, the daughter of Eugene and Levie Cancienne Grow.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by four children, Mike Breaux and wife Mada of Bayou Vista, Randy Breaux and wife Faith of Youngsville, Shelia Harrington and husband Tommy of Lafayette; Janielle Adydan and husband Joe of Bayou Vista; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
Vada was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Levie Cancienne Grow; husband, Howard Breaux; one sister, Golden Mickler; four brothers, Wilber Grow, Edison Grow, Gordon Grow, and Ira Grow.
Pallbearers will be Jason Breaux, Dustin Breaux, Shane Harrington, Chet Adydan, Brandon Breaux, Ryan Breaux, Coy Richard, and Hunter Harrington. Honorary pallbearers will be Blake Romero and Brett Keller.
The family would like to give their deepest appreciation to Heart Of Hospice for their compassion over Vada, as well as a special thank you to her caregivers, Ginger, Bonnie, and Lisa.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, November 11, 2021 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Monsignor Courville officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday, November 11, 2021 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church from 9:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. A rosary will be recited at 11:30 a.m. and Mass will begin immediately following. After Mass, Vada will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
