NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish officers, led by Sheriff Leland Falcon, have arrested Jessica Crews Bourgeois, 43, residing at 821 Two Brothers Lane, Morgan City, LA, and Frankie G. Clark, 40, living at 158 Friendship Lane, Morgan City, upon receiving a suspicious vehicle report in the LA 400 / Bayou Crab vicinity.

On Wednesday evening, deputies arrived at the scene where they made contact with a witness who reported seeing individuals using what seemed to be a torch to possibly disassemble materials for scrap. Deputies eventually intercepted a departing vehicle in the area and managed to pull it over. After interacting with the two occupants who initially gave false identities, they were later identified correctly as Jessica Crews Bourgeois and Frankie G. Clark. Both suspects lied about their reason for being there.

In their truck’s rear portion, deputies found recently cut iron that was later claimed by the legitimate owner. Jessica Crews Bourgeois and Frankie G. Clark were then taken into custody on charges of theft.

Subsequent inventory searches of the suspicious vehicle led to the discovery and seizure of drug paraphernalia and methamphetamine.

Jessica Crews Bourgeois is currently detained at the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of felony theft, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting an officer, and criminal trespassing. Her bond is set at $50,000.

Frankie G. Clark is also held at the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of possession of methamphetamine, felony theft, possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting an officer, criminal trespassing, and fugitive status from St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office. His bond stands at $50,000 as well.
