St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 72-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 137 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Kenneth Ray Hebert, 73, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on August 2, 2024, at 9:51 am for possession of schedule II drugs and turning movements and required signals. Hebert was released on a $3,750 bond.
Tamika Beatrice Bias, 49, Amelia, LA, was arrested on August 2, 2024, at 9:53 am on a warrant for failure to appear for the charge of issuing worthless checks. Bias was released on her own recognizance.
Phillip Paul Meaux, 62, Lafayette, LA, was arrested on August 4, 2024, at 4:05 pm for driving while intoxicated, reckless operation w/accident, and possession of marijuana. Meaux was released on a $10,000 bond.
George Davison Harvey III, 42, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on August 4, 2024, at 10:38 pm for monetary instrument abuse. Harvey was released on a $3,500 bond.
Michael Wayne Darby, 66, Franklin, LA, was arrested on August 2, 2024, at 11:42 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of simple burglary. Bail was set at $30,000.
Malcomb Jermoe Williams Jr., 48, Humble, TX, was arrested on August 5, 2024, at 5:13 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of probation violation. Bail has not been set at this time.
