St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell advises that over the last 120-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 212 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Coby Michael Boyd, 34, Franklin, LA, was arrested on June 19, 2024, at 12:03 am on a warrant for failure to appear for the charge of criminal neglect of family. Boyd was released on his own recognizance.
Hunter Michael Chauvin, 28, Houma, LA, was arrested on June 20, 2024, at 10:33 am for failure to register as a sex offender or child predator. Chauvin was transferred to another jurisdiction.
Anthony Devonte’ Bowie, 29, Charenton, LA, was arrested on June 21, 2024, at 11:24 pm for domestic abuse battery. Bail was set at $3,500.
NARCOTICS SECTION
Hodges Matthews, 45, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on June 18, 2024, at 9:51 pm the following charges:
- Improper lane usage
- Reckless operation of a vehicle
- Aggravated obstruction of a highway of commerce
- Driving under suspension
Bail has been set at $52,250.
